Stockport Homes introduce new lettings service

Stockport Homes is now offering a lettings service to private landlords with properties in Stockport.

As a multi award winning ‘three star and excellent’ rated organisation currently managing 11,500 homes in the social housing stock, Stockport Homes are ideally placed to provide this professional service.

There are two service options available: full management service, where everything from finding a tenant to providing a repairs service is provided, and a tenant find only service.

Kate Pilley, Social Lettings Project Officer has already signed up 14 landlords to the service and is currently renting out 16 properties after just four months in post, she says: “We have a list of people waiting for homes across the Borough, it’s great to help people find a home and landlords to rent out their property, our fees are very competitive. Everyone benefits.”

A marketing campaign will start next month across the Borough and Greater Manchester to spread the word.
