Budding business entrepreneurs from Bromley are invited to Dare to Dream on a business start-up programme funded by social landlord, Riverside.
The 12-week course, hosted by Enterprise Cube, starts in February, with a taster session scheduled for 30 January, aimed at Bromley residents who have a business idea they want to develop.
Riverside has ploughed £10,000 into the free course, following research in the area that suggests new business start-up is of particular interest locally.
Lacy Dixon is Riverside’s employment and training officer. She said: “We have 20 places available for those who want to become self- employed and have a business idea they’d like to put into action. The taster day is a chance for people to find out more and decide if the course if right for them.”
The course will cover book keeping, marketing, business planning with peer support, as well as advice from professional business experts.
The taster session is at 1-3pm on Wednesday 30 January at 47-49 Plaistow Lane, Bromley. The course will be held at the same venue, with weekly sessions until the end of April.
