Staff at Riverside put their money slightly above where their mouths are to raise over £4800 during Movember.
More than 85 MoBros and MoSistas from the social housing organisation sported facial fuzz last month to raise vital funds for the campaign that encourages men to grow moustaches to raise awareness of mens’ health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer.
Paul Fitzgerald, Riverside’s Network Infrastructure Manager who managed the campaign, said: “We had a fantastic response from staff who really embraced the campaign this year. We even had a competition for The Best in Breed Mo, Lame Mo of the Year and MoSista of the Year.
“Although everybody got into the spirit and enjoyed comparing their novelty moustaches, it is a serious campaign and we’re delighted to be doing our bit to support such a worthwhile cause.”
