GlassGuard® has launched a range of Halogen GLS lamps to add to its portfolio of fragment retention lamps, which is already the widest range in Europe.

With traditional incandescent bulbs being phased out in the UK, GlassGuard® is now offering an alternative lighting source for businesses. GlassGuard® Halogen GLS lamps offer a marked increase in efficiency by providing a higher output compared to low wattage energy saver lamps whilst saving up to 30% energy. GlassGuard®’s Halogen GLS lamps provide instant brighter lighting and are fully dimmable. They contain no mercury or other hazardous materials.

The Halogen GLS lamps are available in 42w and 70w, with both bayonet and screw caps to suit a variety of uses.

GlassGuard® coated fragment retention lamps provide a solution for organisations wishing to eliminate glass contamination and personal injury from accidental lamp breakage. They are designed to provide the highest level of protection for public areas such as schools, leisure centres and hospitals.

Stewart Damonsing, GlassGuard®’s Marketing Manager explains: “Using fragment retention lamps in these environments are vital to protect individuals from injury. We can now offer a brighter, clearer and better performing option. Our Halogen GLS lamps combine efficiency and safety in one quality product.”
