Tottenham legend Gary Mabbutt has joined a campaign to save a beloved pub from housing developers.
As we reported yesterday, the Antwerp Arms, which sits only 200 metres away from Spurs' White Hart Lane stadium, only had a few hours to be saved.
However, community shares platform Microgenius has extended the deadline for another two weeks.
Residents group The Antwerp Arms Association is trying to raise the £250,000 needed to buy the establishment from developers.
Mr Mabbutt, who played for Premier League side Spurs between 1982 and 1998, will be at the pub on Church Road this morning to offer his support.
The AAA has raised 53% of the sum needed to save the pub so far.
