Leading homelessness charity Porchlight is calling on Kent residents to hold a picnic this summer and raise money in support of its work.
Picnic 4 Porchlight is being backed by renowned author and Artisan Baker, Paul Hollywood, who says, “I urge everyone in Kent to hold a Picnic 4 Porchlight. It’s a great excuse to get friends and family together, sample some fresh Kentish produce and raise a bit of money to help homeless people in your community. Sign up today and get baking!”
Kate Lumley is community fundraiser for the charity: “There are some beautiful places around the county to enjoy eating outdoors. Picnics can be held at any time during the summer so dust off that blanket and hamper!”
The picnic that raises the most money will win a family ticket (2 adults, 3 children) to Leeds Castle.
To be in with a chance of winning you need to register your Picnic 4 Porchlight online or contact the charity on 01227 813199.
