The Alliance Homes Group has been shortlisted in the 'Best Neighbourhoods' category at the National Housing Federation's Community Impact Awards for their 'Growing Together' project.

The awards celebrate the difference that can be made by giving people opportunities and bringing communities together.

'Growing Together' aims to increase the access that people in one housing estate in Weston-super-Mare have to productive green spaces. The project encourages local people to participate in healthy outdoor practical gardening activities whilst giving them the chance to gain Royal Horticultural Society qualifications, build confidence and skills, and make a difference to their local community.

The best in category winners will be revealed at a ceremony in Clevedon, North Somerset on 1st May. Some of the local category winners will then be put forward to be the national Community Impact Award winner, which will be announced on 12th June.
