Staff at Progress Housing Group’s offices in Leyland and Lytham St Annes raised a staggering £2,860 for Children in Need this year. That’s over £2,000 more than the previous year, thanks to a director’s sponsored head shave and a homemade cake sale.
Alan Johnson, Managing Director of Progress Care Housing Association, took part in a charity chop challenge which raised over £2,520 for Children in Need. Alan had grown his hair for five months after being set the charity challenge by a colleague in June. As part of the fundraising campaign, Progress Housing Group held a raffle with the holder of the winning ticket given the opportunity to take the clippers to Alan’s locks.
Alan Johnson, Managing Director of Progress Care Housing Association, said: “It’s fantastic, we have raised a great total for a very worthy cause and I’m delighted that my curls have finally gone!”
Jacqui De-Rose, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has generously donated to our Children in Need appeal. We would especially like to thank all those staff who kindly baked cakes and donated raffle prizes.”
Progress Housing Group would like to thank all of its staff and partner organisations who have kindly made donations, with special thanks to C&W Berry Ltd, Choice Support, DM Habens, Blackpool Signs and Displays, Pope Property Services and TP Properties.
