Arty Aimee Taylor (6), of Littlecoates Primary School, Grimsby is the winner of the annual Shoreline Housing Partnership Christmas card design competition.
Pupils at the school were given the opportunity to design North East Lincolnshire’s largest affordable housing provider’s Christmas 2013 card.
Shoreline chair Karen Rastall chose the top three entrants from the final 25 bright, colourful, festive designs with Aimee taking first place, Danielle Measures (9) second and Jonathon Corrigan (10) third.
Dolton Melkevik (10) was also highly commended for their entry.
The three winning pupils received a £25, £15 and £10 book voucher respectively, will have their designs used on the organisation’s Facebook page and company website with Aimee’s design used as the Shoreline Christmas card 2013 and as the cover of Shoreline News - the tenant magazine.
Each of the final twenty-five entrants received a Christmas goodie bag at a special school presentation.
Shoreline chair Karen Rastall who presented framed copies of the top three designs to the winning pupils, said: “Littlecoates Primary School is just around the corner from our main offices so it’s lovely to have such a local school involved in our card design this year.
“All of the entries were fantastic, so it was extremely difficult to choose but we really like Aimee’s design and think it makes an excellent Shoreline festive greeting.”
