Free and exclusive cinema treat

Published by Liz Reeson for Two Rivers Housing in Communities

Tenants of Two Rivers Housing, young and old, will enjoy an exclusive Christmas cinema treat next month, courtesy of the Forest-based housing association.

Two Rivers has hired two local cinemas so that its tenants can savour private screenings of two recent releases..

Older residents living in Two Rivers' 'Home Plus' properties will be able to watch James Corden in 'One Chance' at The Palace Cinema at Cinderford on Thursday 5 December, with tea, coffee and mince pies to help them get into the festive spirit.

Then on Saturday morning, 14 December, the latest Disney animated comedy adventure 'Frozen' will be screened at The Studio in Coleford for families to enjoy.

"We like to do something a bit special for our residents at this time of year, and the free cinema tickets have always been popular," explained Emma Towler, the affordable housing charity's Community Involvement Co-ordinator. "These two films should offer something for people of all ages to enjoy, and will get the festive season off to a great start."
