Spire Homes are holding a series of Learn4Life sessions in March to help tenants with the welfare reform and benefit changes, and to help them brush up on budgeting skills.
There will be a Welfare reform and benefit changes session on 20th March and a financial and budgeting skills session on 26th March. They will be held at the Costa Coffee community room on the High Street in Rushden.
One to one financial advice will also available on both days from Steve Thomas, Spire Homes' Money Guidance Officer.
Sharon Boot, Resident and Community Involvement Officer, said "Learn4Life is a project to help, engage and assist tenants in learning new skills, and help with the benefit changes so they can understand and be prepared. We are planning other one day courses, including DIY and cooking skills and basic ICT skills - which will be coming soon."
