Shoreline employees welcome membership to Grimsby Town's Century Club
The future of Grimsby Town has been given a boost from Shoreline Housing Partnership, the latest members of the football team’s Century Club.
The area’s largest social housing provider has pledged £200 to help the club’s youth set up.
Shoreline chief executive Tony Bramley said: “Shoreline is a proud supporter of Grimsby Town and is pleased to be part of the Century Club.
“Lots of our tenants and employees are life-long supporters of the Mariners, a few staff members even work at the club including within the youth coaching system and others have children who attend the Football in the Community events.
“It’s definitely a great way to be involved in something important to the local area – we’d urge other local businesses to take part to help safeguard the future of the club and hopefully produce some home grown stars of the future.”
Grimsby Town’s Century Club gives 100 businesses the opportunity to make a real difference to the club’s future.
By pledging just £200, companies become members of an exclusive club – and will play their part in safeguarding the Mariners youth system.
