Football fun day in Hull

Young Hull residents can put their football skills to the test and receive guidance on how to improve their game at a free coaching day during February half-term.
Organised by Sanctuary Housing in partnership with the Hull Tigers Sport and Education Trust, the training session forms part of Sanctuary’s national Football and Fitness project involving ten similar partnerships with football league clubs across the UK.
There are two sessions taking place in Hull which will be run by fully qualified coaches and are open to young people, male or female, aged 8 – 19 years on Tuesday 12 February.
The free coaching classes kick-off at 10am and will run to 3pm at the University of Hull Sports Centre and KC Astro Turf/ Arena.
Both sessions will provide participants with the opportunity to develop their football talents, improve physical health and wellbeing, increase confidence and self esteem, and allow them to interact and engage with other members of the local community in a positive way.
Anybody wishing to take part at either of the venues can just turn up on the day or book their place by calling Paul Sarel on 01482 304758.
