Santa takes a week long tour of the Forest

Published by Anonymous for Two Rivers Housing in Communities and also in Care and Support, Health, Housing

Santa has booked out next week to visit the Forest of Dean - before he hits the final Christmas rush to pack parcels for children around the world.

He will be meeting local kids and giving our free Christmas goody bags at a series of free events organised by Two Rivers Housing Association.

"It's brilliant he has accepted our invite when he has so many other demands on his time. Every year he visits – no doubt because of the warmth and friendliness he has experienced in Two Rivers communities in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire," said Neighbourhoods chief Rachel Smith.

The not-for-profit community organisation provides affordable homes for thousands of local families, helping them bridge the growing gap between house prices and incomes.

The events will include fun and games, a disco and food and drink for all!

Santa's week long Forest tour looks like this:

· Mon 17th– Coleford Main Place – 10am till 12noon.

· Tues 18th– Kids Xmas Party - Soudley Village Hall – 3-30pm – 5pm.

· Wed 19th– Drybrook Hall – 3.30pm – 5.30pm.

· Thurs 20th– Sedbury, Buttington Road – 10am – 12 noon.

- Lydney Rivers Children Centre (under 5s only) 1pm – 3pm.

Everyone with children is welcome at Two Rivers Special Santa events; neighbours, friends and family.

"Quality affordable housing is just the building block for a great community and a high quality of life. Two Rivers is a community organisation and is about helping people build better lives for themselves. We develop communities, not just houses
