Movember Coffee Morning
During November each year, Movember is responsible for thousands of men in theUKand around the world growing moustaches.
Staff from Friendship Care and Housing’s (Friendship) Well-being Hub took it upon themselves to sprout a moustache and hold a coffee morning in aid of Movember.
Competition has been rife, to see who could grow the best moustache. The aim of which is to raise money and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men, so far they have raised £33.
Kay Guise, Friendship’s Service Coordinator for Gwenda House, Hurst Road and Gadsby Street, said: “The coffee morning was to raise a bit of money for a good cause. The men had the hardest part keeping a moustache for a whole month, but it’s safe to say as soon as December came the moustaches were off!”
