Public consultation to be held on Wellingborough plans

Housing and regeneration specialist, Keepmoat and Wellingborough Council are holding a public consultation event on plans for a new housing development including, a multi-storey car park and retail facilities in the town.
The event is being held in Morrison’s supermarket on Oxford Street in Wellingborough on Saturday 24th November between 10.00am and 3.00pm. Members of Keepmoat’s development team and the Council will be on hand to answer any questions about the proposed development.
The proposals include the development of 128 new homes including affordable housing for rent, a 200-space multi-storey car park and 4,400 square foot of retail space. The development will also include a large area of public open space.
Planning permission has been submitted to the council and if approved, work is expected to commence on site in early 2013.

The proposed development will be accessed from Jacksons Lane and Oxford Street in Wellingborough.
