Working Together To Engage Young People

Equity Housing Group is one of a number of organisations working together to create two weeks of activities for young people in Stockport.

Activity Weeks will take place between 20th Oct and 2nd Nov in the Lancashire Hill, Belmont Estate and Castelrigg areas of Stockport. The aim is to encourage young people to engage with local agencies in positive activities rather than getting involved in anti-social behaviour.

Those working with Equity include: Stockport Council, Stockport Homes, Greater Manchester Police, the Fire and Rescue Service and Life Leisure.

Activities are open to young people of all ages and include; go-karting, paintballing, football, boxing, hair and beauty advice and a 'Games Beast' containing Playstation and X Box consoles and games.
