Friendship Care and Housing (Friendship) are continuing to work in partnership with Groundwork UK and other local partners in a bid to open up and transform green spaces on some of Friendship’s larger estates to the benefit of the community and the families who live there.
As the last fun day worked so well Friendship invited residents in Crewton Gardens, Alvaston, Derby to join them for another family fun day to discuss their ideas further.
There were plenty of activities on offer for everyone and it was a great opportunity to meet up and talk to people about developing the overall master plan.
The day delivered on its promise with cycling activities, competitions and prizes and make your own Halloween accessories for the kids.
“It’s been a great day, lots of people turned up to enjoy the Halloween themed activities and it’s created a real sense of community spirit” said Sarah Hubbard, Customer Involvement Officer at Friendship.
