Procurement Toolkit proving a winner with North East Housing Association

Based in County Durham, livin Housing Limited have recently changed name (they were formerly Sedgefield Borough Homes), changed offices and changed their branding, so they know a thing or two about meeting new challenges.

Procurement Co-ordinator, Jade McHale, has been more than busy reviewing the organisation's Procurement policies and procedures to make sure their new Procurement Toolkit contained all the latest information and documents prior to its recent launch. Working with Knowledge Map specialists, First Adapt, livin wanted to provide an easy to use on line tool so that anyone involved in procurement could see what steps to carry out at a glance. 

The Procurement Toolkit sits on the organisaton's intranet and has been tailored to tie with the organisation's overall branding. The benefits of having a consistent approach are already being felt and the view is that further savings and efficiencies will be made as use of the Toolkit grows.

First Adapt provide Knowledge Maps predominantly for public and third sector organistions incuding a number of well known housing organisations across the UK including livin who manage some 8,500 properties.
