Hollinwood residents invited to Valentine’s celebration

The newly formed Hollinwood Events Group is to hold one of its first events for Hollinwood residents with a Valentine’s Day party.

The ‘Valentine’s Celebration’ is to take place Friday 10th February at Oldham Rugby Club, off White Bank Road in Hollinwood and organiser Sarah Furbey, Community Development Worker at Contour Homes, part of Symphony Housing, is hoping it will be a huge success:

“This new events group is made up of many local organisations and residents and we are planning to hold events all around Hollinwood over the coming months.

“It’s going to be a great night, and there will be something for everyone - kids and adults alike.”

The party is to offer a DJ, raffled, food, children’s activities and a Cupid’s Couple Quiz with a prize of a meal for two including wine courtesy of The King George Pub on Hollins Road. 

Tickets are £2 for Adults and £1 for children, and are available to buy from the Contour Homes Office on First Avenue, Limeside, OL8 3SH. If there are any remaining tickets they will be sold at the door on the night.
