DYNAMIC, a new marketing consultancy for charities, social enterprises and community interest companies, launched its services to over 50 invited guests in Birmingham this week.
DYNAMIC is the creation of marketing professionals Ranjit Bansal and Sian McClure, who together have over 25 years’ experience of working with charities and social enterprises in the West Midlands and North West.
DYNAMIC co-founder Ranjit Bansal has been part of the marketing effort in the West Midlands that has seen the social enterprise sector’s profile catapult in the past ten years, and is excited about using her experience to help clients achieve their business and social goals:
“There are over 15,000 charities and social enterprises in the West Midlands, all vying for investment and contract opportunities, and good marketing is critical to their success. Bringing an organisation’s achievements to life and making sure the right people hear about them – from investors to potential customers and service users – can make the world of difference. We know the cuts are hitting organisations hard, but marketing is an investment, and when executed properly, delivers a commercial return.”
Referring to their target market as ‘values-driven’ organisations, the duo are focussed on providing professional, affordable and bespoke marketing services, hoping that their specialist knowledge and experience of the social enterprise and charity sectors will give their proposition a competitive edge.
“Many charities and social enterprises either can’t afford to employ a marketing team or are looking to buy in additional, specific expertise. This is where we come in,” said Sian McClure, Co-founder of DYNAMIC. “Some organisations are very clear about the type of support they need – perhaps they want to launch a new product or service, reach a new audience, or review their social media activity. Others know their marketing isn’t working, but aren’t sure where to start. In those cases we’ll sit down with the organisation and assess their marketing needs using our experience and specially designed tools. We’ll use the information to recommend how that organisation would benefit from activities such as market research, branding, or PR. Our experience means we completely understand the challenges facing values-driven organisations and are able to work with them to find solutions to their marketing needs that don’t break the bank.”
As well as one off pieces of work, DYNAMIC offers a monthly retainer for organisations who want a longer-term arrangement, and several service packages for larger projects, including events management, PR, and a starter package for new businesses.
