Spire Homes' Teresa Mclean returning the locket Spire Homes' Teresa Mclean returning the locket

Spire Homes have cracked their very own Miss Marple case! During the installation of a new central heating system at Winston Close, Ketton a purse was found with keys and a silver engraved locket with photographs. This was handed back to the current tenant, but it did not belong to them.

Teresa Mclean, Support worker, decided to solve the mystery of ‘The Purse Owner’. After talking with other tenants at the scheme to find out if they knew those in the photographs, they were identified as relatives of a previous tenant.

Teresa Mclean said, “I tried the phone book to find contact numbers for the relatives in the photograph. After no success, I contacted the South Kesteven electoral roll, who managed to find the son and daughter in the photographs. After writing to them, they got in touch; it’s great that they have finally been returned. It turns out the purse and contents had been behind the system since 2001.”
