Spire Homes have set up a new Handyperson service to benefit tenants who need help with home improvements and small jobs.
The Handyperson service helps with essential household repairs such as replacement locks to doors and windows, minor plumbing and electrical work and replacing toilet seats. Larger tasks such as decorating, tiling, hedge cutting and lawn mowing can also be undertaken. There is a small charge for the service, but it provides a handy bit of help for those who need it.
Mark Rogers, Head of Property Services said “We are really pleased to be able to offer this new service. It can often be difficult to find a contractor to carry out small household repairs at a reasonable cost and we hope that we will be able to provide valuable assistance to our tenants.”
