Staff at Rochford Housing Association are celebrating, having been awarded the prestigious Investors in People (IIP) accreditation.

Following an assessment period, which included interviews and feedback reports, the local housing provider has received official recognition for putting its people first.

The Investors in People standard is recognised as the benchmark of how a business can improve performance through its people.  Rochford Housing, which manages over 1,750 homes across the district, now joins some 30,000 companies across the country to have achieved the nationally-recognised award.

Highlights from the Investors in People external assessor’s report concluded that Rochford Housing “is a great place to work.”  Managers were also praised for being “open, approachable, encouraging and supportive.”

Emma Keegan, managing director of Rochford Housing Association, said: “We are immensely proud to have achieved this renowned accreditation, which is a real testament to every member of the team.

“Our priority is working together to provide a high-quality service to our residents – to have this recognised and to receive such positive feedback is a huge achievement.”
