On Thursday 16 June between 10am and 4pm, Moat and Greenwich Council will hold a careers day on John Harris Way between the health centre and Millennium Village School, at Greenwich Millennium Village. Recent feedback from residents has revealed that they would like more information and support about jobs and training. With this in mind, Greenwich Council and Moat put their heads together and organised a careers day.

Moat and Greenwich Council have worked closely with Next Step and nearby Ravensbourne College to provide the right support. Whether people are in employment and looking to gain new skills, or finding the jobs market a little too tough at the moment; the careers day team will be able to help. The Metropolitan Police are also attending to discuss career and training pathways available across the force.

Sarah Bowden, Moat’s Community Development Officer, says; “Moat places great emphasis on building sustainable communities and a huge part of that is supporting our residents with training and employment. We’re looking forward to providing the right advice to encourage training opportunities and motivate residents to take control of their future.”
