Crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1000 for any information given to them which leads to the arrest and charge of the person responsible for an Ipswich armed robbery. [19 May 2011]

The incident occurred on Tuesday 26 April 2011 around 9.30am on Dial Street in Ipswich. A man entered Berridges Jewellers, with what is believed to be a handgun, and stole a quantity of jewellery. No-one was hurt in the incident but shop owner, Chris Hardman, says “it was very frightening for all staff”.
