Wirral residents stepped back in time as Wirral Partnership Homes organised an old fashioned tea dance for its tenants! 

The afternoon attracted over 50 guests, all enjoying songs from yesteryear, dancing, tea and sandwiches and a free raffle. 

Grace Agnew, a WPH resident from Prenton, said:  “I thoroughly enjoyed myself and can’t wait for the next event WPH organise!” 

Lynne Ryder, WPH Resident Involvement Officer, said:  “We organised a 1940’s Nostalgia Day last year and feedback from residents was that they wanted somewhere they could have a dance.  So we booked a fantastic DJ and everyone was able to show off their dancing skills throughout the day.  We didn’t charge anything for residents to attend and people seemed to really enjoy themselves.  We’ll look at other things we can do throughout the year.”
