A 14-year-old girl has run away from home with her baby daughter, police said today.

Tinishya Marshall disappeared with 11-month-old Sophie and they are believed to be in the company of an older teenager.

Tinishya went missing from the Greystoke Avenue area of Southmead, Bristol, on September 3.

Avon and Somerset Police said Tinishya had told people she was going out to the shops and took her daughter in a pink pram.

She was spoken to shortly afterwards by a relative and reminded that Sophie's feed was due.

At 3.30pm Tinishya and her daughter were seen in Greystoke Avenue but have not been seen since.

Tinishya is described as a white, 5ft 2in, of heavy build with dark brown shoulder length hair, which is usually tied up.

When last seen she was wearing a black velour tracksuit with a white top underneath.

Her daughter was wearing a red velour tracksuit.

A force spokesman said: "There is growing concern about the welfare of the baby as none of the child's belongings or change of clothes were taken, except for her pink pram.

"It is possible that she was maybe with another man who has also gone missing at the same time and is known to her."

Police believe that Tinishya and Sophie may be in the Devon area.

The man, who police did not name, is described as white and aged 17.

He is 5ft 5in, with short mousy brown hair and was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a white T-shirt and white trainers.
