Safety Net Associates are recognised as one of the UK’s leading criminal and neighbourhood justice consultancies and providers of the National Programme of BTEC Qualifications in ASB Case working and Approaches to Restorative Justice.  We are pleased to welcome Karen Wolfe and Martin Medforth to our expert team.

Karen Wolfe | Director of Corporate Investigations

Karen is a former Detective with over nineteen years’ experience. Karen has worked for Kent Police and The Police Service of Northern Ireland and was a founder member of Kent Police’s first Witness Protection Team.  During her career she has worked on at least twenty murder enquiries, and as a professional Serious Crime Investigator she is a practiced authority on managing work related conflict.

Her qualifications include a City and Guilds level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Life Long Learning Sector and a City and Guilds level 3 Award in Delivering Conflict Management Training.

As Director of Corporate Investigations, Karen will be the lead in this growing side to the Safety Net Associates Groups’ offerings.  Karen will also be assisting with the delivery and further development of the national programme of BTEC Qualifications while delivering some new and exciting specialist training services.

Martin Medforth | Senior Procurement Advisor

Martin is an experienced Procurement and Commercial Specialist with over 15 years of buying experience at a senior level in both public and private sectors.  Over the last five years he has developed a particular interest in procurement and contract management process and governance specifically targeting value for money in the public sector and the management of risk, both in respect of assuring delivery and protecting buyers against legal challenge.

Martin will be leading on the development and delivery of a new training product designed for organisations or individuals that are looking to get the best out of the procurement and tendering process.
