Murder inquiry launched after man dies in hospital

A murder investigation has been launched after a man who sustained serious head injuries has died in hospital.
Paul Woods, aged 29, was admitted to Southern General Hospital after being found in Maryhill Road, Glasgow. Mr Woods had sustained serious head injuries when discovered opposite the Maryhill Tavern at approximately 10pm on Wednesday.
