Shoreline's customer engagement team greet visitors to European Neighbours' Day
Grimsby town centre became an all-singing, all-dancing hub of family fun as local residents enjoyed a day of free entertainment, activities and games in celebration of European Neighbours’ Day
Building on the success of the last two years, Shoreline Housing Partnership once again arranged the free community fun day to build neighbourhood relations and bring young people and their families together.
Dance displays, singers, food stalls, music, face painting and a ‘Reach our European Neighbours’ balloon race ensured the community event was a roaring success.
Shoreline customer engagement officer Lyndsey Parker said: “This is the third European Neighbours’ Day we have organised and they continue to get bigger and better.
“It’s a great excuse to have fun but it also gives us the chance to encourage local people to get together, celebrate all the different people that make up our communities and help to make neighbourhoods friendlier places to live.”
