Participation Works offers free help to voluntary and community groups
Voluntary and community groups in the west Midlands looking to improve their projects for children and young people are being offered free training.
The course is for community organisations looking to increase children and young people’s participation in their settings.
‘Building a Culture of Participation’ training is taking place on April 2 in Birmingham and is free for voluntary and community groups, but there is a charge of £85 for statutory bodies. It explores how an organisation’s culture can be established and embedded to support children and young people’s active and meaningful participation within the organizational infrastructure.
This practical course is supported by work undertaken by the National Children’s Bureau and PK Research Consultancy.
