Participation Works, a consortium of six national children’s charities has announced the launch of their new redesigned website; the Participation Works Gateway, www.participationworks.org.uk which will play a key role in supporting practitioners working with children and young people.

The redesigned website offers a range of essential tools and resources, including latest links to research and information in youth participation issues. It also acts as a platform for the development of a community, uniting anyone with an interest in youth participation across the country by sharing good practice ideas.

Mandy Douglas, Head of Participation Works said: ‘We are delighted to be launching this fantastic new resource. We have worked hard on the redesign of the Participation Works gateway achieving a fresh and modern new look as well as a user-friendly tool. Through the Gateway, we enable participation workers to access a wealth of information on participation issues and complement the free training courses we are offering. We would also encourage practitioners to sign up to our network.’

Participation Works enable organisations to effectively involve children and young people in the development, delivery and evaluation of services that affect their lives.
