Published by Paulina for Participation Works in Communities and also in Local Government
A new publication from Participation Works provides information on involving children and young people in commissioning.
Participation Works has produced a series of free ‘How to…’ guides available to anyone with an interest in youth participation.
How to involve children and young people in commissioning, provides background information on where commissioning has come from and outlines the benefits of involving children and young people. It
also goes through the legal side of the Every Child matters outcomes and uses case studies, showcasing successful examples of involving children and young people in commissioning from around the
country in different settings.
Participation Works is a consortium of six national children’s charities aiming to enable organisations to effectively involve children and young people in the development, delivery and
evaluation of services that affect their lives.
