Police release CCTV image of 'serial train flasher'
British Transport Police today released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify in relation to an ongoing investigation into sex offences on trains in North Kent.
BTP Detective Constable Andy Parkinson said police were investigating a number of offences involving a man exposing himself to females on trains.
"The victims are aged between their early 20s to one woman in her mid 60s," DC Parkinson said.
"Our investigation has so far linked offences dating back to March 2007, with the most recent offence occurring at Dartford in June this year.
"Women travelling mostly on the line of route between Gravesend and Lewisham have made the allegations."
DC Parkinson said police had located a CCTV image taken at Dartford station of a man police would like to identify in relation to their investigation.
"The male is described as being aged between 45 and 55 years old, with short cropped/receeding grey hair and wears glasses.
"The male we wish to speak with is believed to have connections with the Medway/Dartford and Croydon areas."
Police are appealing to anyone who can identify the male to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or the Witness Appeal Line on 0207 391 5275, quoting log B5 of 20/8/08.
