Another fund-raising event for the Mayor of Chesterfield's Appeal for the Pathways of Chesterfield Centre will take place at the Pomegranate Theatre, Corporation Street, Chesterfield, on Sunday, October 15 at 7.30pm, when Chesterfield Operatic Society will perform show-stopping numbers and some lesser known gems from musicals which have charmed West End and Broadway theatre audience over many years.   

With songs from shows such as 'My Fair Lady', 'Guys and Dolls', 'Cats' and 'Les Miserables', the Pomegranate will be filled with some of the best tunes of the 20th century.

Chesterfield Operatic Society has been well known on the Chesterfield and North Derbyshire music scene for many years.       

Tickets at £8, with some side seats at £6, are now available from the Pomegranate Theatre (Tel: 01246 345222) and Chesterfield Tourist Information Centre in Rykneld Square, Tel: 345777. 

The Society is very grateful for generous financial assistance from Chesterfield Borough Council for this concert.
