Race night to raise cash for Mayor's charities

A race night supper in aid of the Mayor of Colchester's charities is set to take place, organised by the Colchester and Tendring Community Trust.
The event takes place on Thursday 19 October, at Colchester Garrison Officer's Club. Guests are invited to arrive at 7pm for a 7.15pm start.
There will be a ploughman's supper and eight screened horse races to enjoy plus a raffle and pay bar. Tickets cost £12.50 each and include supper.
Colchester Mayor, Cllr Richard Gower, said: "The race night promises to be a fun night out and it's great to receive this support for my chosen charities from the Colchester and Tendring Community Trust."
The Mayor's charities are: Army Benevolent Fund, Colchester and Tendring Community Trust, Headway, Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and Girl Guiding Essex North East.
