Fast food litter night time reminder

A night time reminder that fast food litter helps increase the rat population will be on show to pub and club goers tonight [15 September].

From around 8pm to 11pm an advert sponsored by Keep Britain Tidy which is currently showing in cinemas across the country, will be projected from the Town Hall onto the front of a building in the High Street. This will help target those people who drop take-away packaging and uneaten food in the early hours of the morning.

People walking along High Street will see the advert showing rats eating fast food litter with the hope they will remember this image when purchasing their food later in the evening.
