Hopkins: New £500 million funding deal to deliver over 4,000 affordable homes
Housing Minister Kris Hopkins has agreed to attend this year’s CSI Customer Scrutiny Awards ceremony.
Linda Levin, judging committee chair, said: “The CSI Awards provide a national platform for the recognition of the vital role played by volunteers in monitoring performance and scrutinising services. The impact of this work is widely supported by tenants and landlords alike.”
In accepting the invitation, the MP said: “Government recognises the commitment of tenant volunteers and the role they play in improving their communities. We continue to encourage more people to work with their local representatives to play their part too.”
The CSI Awards 2014 provide a dedicated awards programme celebrating and highlighting the very best practices in tenant scrutiny and inspection. The Awards will also recognise the work of tenant designated panels in supporting landlords and tenants to resolve complaints at a local level.
