10th May 2011: Govtoday has announced it is to host the ‘Greening Government 2011: Mainstreaming Sustainable Development Conference and Exhibition’, to be held in London on Wednesday 12th October 2011. As part of Govtoday’s successful ‘Securing the Future’ series of events, this is the Govtoday’s Third Annual National Conference examining progress within the Public Sector and by Central Government in particular, relating to performance in achieving Sustainable Development, which incorporates attaining both our national and international carbon reduction targets of a 34 per cent reduction in emissions by 2020, and 80 per cent by 2050.
The event will take place at The Brewery in London (from 08:15am – 16:50pm); a Grade II listed building and holder of a City Heritage Award.
