British Sitcom 'Stars' raise £700 at allpay for Red Nose Day

Del Boy, Rodney, Sybil, Mr Brittas and Nessa were some of the funny characters who turned up at local company allpay on Red Nose Day last Friday.

The company’s departments had been challenged to a ‘Do Something Funny for Money’ with a dressing up competition. Each team randomly chose a famous British Sitcom as their theme and these included The Vicar of Dibley, Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses and Dad’s Army.

More than £700 was raised at the Whitestone offices, combining themed challenges, quizzes, raffles and fete style games.

The winners of the main competition were the Quality Assurance team with their take of Come Fly with Me, but they kindly donated their £100 winnings to the fundraising pot.
