Helping educationalists and professionals deliver engaging, interactive presentations to audiences of all sizes, TeamBoard (www.teamboard.com) is launching TecTern Technology Lectern, the latest addition to its line of interactive solutions for the education, training and corporate sectors. Simplifying the delivery of graphical presentations to large audiences, TeamBoard has incorporated innovative technology management and height adjustment features into a contemporary lectern design, providing the user with complete control of their presentation from the lectern.

Supporting the Government’s bid to embed ICT into everyday teaching, TecTern enables educators to deliver stimulating interactive presentations with ease, from classrooms and assembly halls to lecture theatres and other large-audience settings.

Lid closed, in its simplest form, TecTern provides a flat, clean top with document rail. Opening the lid, users benefit from a plethora of TeamBoard’s easy does it features, including a laptop tray, spacious cavity for connections and cable management and room for the TeamBoard FingerTouch Monitor – an optional, built-in finger-touch display. This technology eliminates the need for a mouse or remote and the task of pacing the room with a pointer. The digital ink feature of TeamBoard Draw Software also enables users to annotate or highlight presentations with the touch of a finger – perfect for re-emphasising important points or noting feedback from the audience.

Helping organisations to meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act, TecTern’s dynamic 18-inch height adjustment feature enables users to deliver their presentation either seated or standing with ample room for wheelchair access. Easy roll casters enable presenters to pivot and tip the TecTern or move it to a new location making it a cost-effective solution for institutions of any size.

Fully customisable to reflect an institution’s branding or colour scheme, TecTern’s crown and modesty panel is produced in a range of standard or custom colours with the further option to include a logo.

Peter Olsson, Business Development Manager for TeamBoard, Europe, comments: “Technology has become an integral part of our daily lives – from the moment we begin school, to the workplace and in the home. With stimulating interactive technologies such as the Internet at our fingertips 24/7, we are acclimatised to learning quickly and visually, so it is vital that institutions embrace this technology when presenting information. TecTern provides an easier way for teachers, lecturers and trainers to deliver interactive presentations to audiences of all sizes, freeing them to focus their time on the content, rather than the technical delivery.”
