London, UK – 3rd February, 2010 – Norwich City Council has selected Coactiva Aspiren's Aspireview Performance Management solution to enhance the way it reports, tracks and monitors how its services are performing. Coactiva Aspiren’s performance and data management system will allow information to be shared more easily both internally and externally.

Councillor Alan Waters, executive member for corporate resources and governance, said: “It’s great news that we’ve got this new performance management system in place. Using Aspireview to record, monitor and report performance from across the council is going to help us save a lot of time, as well as address issues raised by the audit commission. It’s really going to help improve the way we do things, making accessing information about performance easier for staff and the public alike.”

Implementing Aspireview will help the Council with its in-house project called ‘On Target’ , which seeks to build on current performance reporting practices and provide a clearer picture of how the Council is doing, and what areas need to improve.

Ray Fielding, CEO of Coactiva Group commented: ‘We are delighted to provide Norwich City Council and its partners with Aspireview, a suite of collaborative and intuitive performance management tools which will help support the authority’s delivery of successful corporate and community outcomes.”

Following the acquisition of Aspiren (Company number: 4152031) by SunGard in 2007, the Aspiren business traded as a separate legal entity within the SunGard group until December 2009, at which point it was merged into SunGard Public Sector and traded as a separate business unit under SunGard Public Sector until November 2010.  In November 2010 the Aspiren business was acquired by coactiva and the business resumed trading as a separate entity under coactiva ownership.
