Anglian to refurbish thousands of service families homes as part of the MOD's national refurbishment programme
Anglian Building Products, the b2b division of the UK’s leading provider of windows and doors, has secured the first ever windows framework agreement for MODern Housing Solutions [MHS]
MODern Housing Solutions, working in partnership with the Ministry of Defence, will see Anglian provide new windows and doors for military homes undergoing modernisation over the next 3 years in England and Wales. The work will be carried out on a contract by contract basis by replacing old windows and doors with low maintenance PVCu casement windows and doors.
Under the Framework agreement, Anglian will work alongside MHS appointed sub-contractors to deliver an integrated refurbishment programme which includes new windows, kitchens and bathrooms to the homes of forces personnel.
Kevin Howes, Key Account Manager for Anglian commented: ‘We are delighted to have been appointed the framework agreement for windows by MODern Housing Solutions. We believe that through our integrated project delivery network, high quality products and project management teams, we can offer the most effective service solution for both the client and their residents.’
”I am encouraged by the level of support and commitment that Anglian has provided” said Mike Perkins, Buyer for MHS, “MODern Housing Solutions are delighted to have included Anglian as the windows framework partner and we look forward to a mutually satisfying relationship”.
Anglian’s first framework contracts will commence at RAF Leeming, Goose Green estate at Aldershot Garrison and RAF South Cerney.
