The Conservatives have taken control of Herefordshire Council after yesterday's local elections.

The make-up of Herefordshire Council is now:

Conservative 31 Councillors

Independent 14 Councillors

Lib Dem 10 Councillors

Labour 2 Councillors

Green 1 Councillor

The turn out for the election was around 30 per cent.
