Plans to build 21 new family homes in East Herts will be unveiled by Riversmead Housing Association, a member of Network Group, at a series of road show information events over the next five weeks.
Riversmead’s investment of £4.3 million to provide local people with a mix of two, three and four bedroom affordable homes includes £588,500 funding from the Homes and Communities Agency.
The proposed plans for each site will go on show at local information events for residents, who will be invited along to look at the plans and give their views.
The first road show information event will take place at Gosselin House, Barleycroft, Bengeo, SG14 3LX on Thursday 2nd February, 4-7pm, and will feature plans to build four three bedroom houses at Manor Close in Bengeo.
Chris Wright, Director of Housing, said: “With over 2700 applications on the district’s housing waiting list, the creation of these new family homes will go towards reducing the shortage of affordable housing in our local neighbourhoods.”
The proposed plans for new homes in Tewin, Wareside and Hertford will take place on 7th February, 16th February and 6th March respectively – please visit www.riversmead.org.uk for times and venue.
