Mumford & Wood, the Essex-based manufacturer of premium timber windows, doors and garden rooms, is now exhibiting in the Products Gallery at The Building Centre,Store Street,London.

Here visitors will find a selection of the Company’s most popular products in the Conservation™ and Contemporary™ ranges from sliding sash and casement windows, to entrance doors, French doorsets and sliding patio doors.  A beautifully crafted timber orangery with roof lantern provides the perfect solution to the coordination of windows, doors and garden rooms from just one supplier, for any project, new-build or refurbishment.

“This is a great facility,” says Chris Wood, Sales &Marketing Director, Mumford & Wood, “even while our exhibit was under construction, architects, specifiers and end-user customers were viewing our high performance products.  This is the equivalent to ourLondonshowroom and is proving to be a great resource.”

He continues: “Our display allows the architect or client to see life-size products that our Sales Team couldn’t physically transport. It also allows first hand experience of spring balanced sashes in comparison with traditional box cords and weights; to open the French doors, and to feel the weight and quality of the entrance doors. The Building Centre, established since the 1930s, is an information source providing inspiration to all sectors of the built environment and is open to everyone involved in architecture and construction.

High performance, British-made, bespoke products by Mumford & Wood are factory finished and double glazed and achieve BSI ‘A-C’ energy ratings, depending on specification, with an overall frame U-value of 1.4 W/m².K.  This meets and surpasses the requirements of currentBuildingRegulations.  Many features, including choice of glazing, high security locking systems and attractive hardware, come as standard.  Products have the BSI Kitemark and Energy Saving Trust accreditations, and many are Secured by Design.  Alu-clad and tilt turn options, bi-fold doors, feature and bullseye windows provide a comprehensive fenestration solution.
