Mr and Mrs Freckleton with Jonathan Seddon, MD of Seddon
Mr Stanley and Mrs Jean Freckleton of Richmond Terrace in Liverpool were the surprised recipients of a celebratory visit by construction company Seddon who were keen to mark their 1000th refurbishment project for client, Liverpool Mutual Homes.
Seddon has been carrying out an extensive improvement programme for Liverpool Mutual Homes working in residents’ homes throughout the Anfield area of Liverpool. The improvement works, which began in early May, are part of an on-going partnering agreement between LMH and Seddon.
Work includes the replacement of kitchens and bathrooms with new fixtures and fittings, flooring, tiling and paintwork. Mr and Mrs Freckleton’s home was the 1000th to benefit from the improvement works and to mark the occasion Seddon visited the couple to present a bouquet of flowers.
Said Jonathan Seddon, Managing Director at Seddon and who made the presentation: “It is great to have the opportunity to meet the people who benefit from our work and we are delighted that Mr and Mrs Freckleton have been able to help us celebrate this landmark achievement.”
Dave Woods, Assistant Director (Technical Services) from LMH added: “The nature of this type of work will always cause some level of disruption, but Seddon always ensure it is kept to an absolute minimum. The tradespeople who work in our homes are always very friendly and ensure our residents are kept informed of what is happening, which is greatly appreciated by everyone.”
