Golding Homes have been granted planning permission to build five bungalows for older people in Staplehurst.
The new homes will be built on a disused garage site in Winch’s Garth, and have been designed by the Golding Homes in-house team. The Maidstone Borough Council Planning Committee approved the planning application for the scheme. The four two-bedroom and one one-bedroom home will be built to meet the lifetime homes and high environmental standards
The homes will be available for affordable rent, and will be
built with funding from the Homes and Communities Agency and
Maidstone Borough Council. The homes will be available to
applicants on the Kent Homechoice Choice Based Lettings List and
available for letting in 2011.
