Liverpool Housing Trust (LHT) recently conducted its STATUS
satisfaction survey of tenants living in sheltered
accommodation.
Satisfaction levels within this group of tenants were extremely
high with six key areas achieving satisfaction of 90% or above and
all of these areas showing an improvement on the previous 2007
survey results.
When satisfaction with overall services was compared with seven other Sheltered Housing providers in the same geographic area, LHT was ranked the highest. LHT tenants rated 90% satisfaction or above on:
• Overall service provided by LHT (95%)
• General condition of property (94%)
• Repairs and maintenance service (90%)
• Standard of customer care (93%)
• Being kept informed (93%)
• Value for money for rent (94%)
Sandra O’Neill, LHT’s Housing and Support Manager said: “I’m really pleased with the results and happy that not only are the satisfaction levels really high, but that they have increased across all areas since the previous survey was conducted. The Older Peoples Housing Team’s hard work has really paid off as the results show. We will be aiming for even higher levels of satisfaction the next time we conduct our STATUS survey.”
Donna Kelly, Divisional Director, LHT Housing & Support added: “Exceptional service delivers exceptional results. I would like to thank the team for all their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm which has led to these brilliant results. I am delighted with such positive feedback from our tenants as this is exactly what we strive for as a Landlord.”
LHT has eleven sheltered housing schemes and one housing with
care scheme in Liverpool as well as three sheltered schemes in
Wirral. The schemes offer independent accommodation for people over
the age of 55 with various levels of on site support.
